THE PROCESS

  1. The estate planning process begins by meeting with a planner from SEPS to analyze your estate and answer non-legal questions about your estate planning. There is no charge for a consultation.
  2. The Legal Department of the Law Office gets everything in order for the attorney.
  3. Your attorney calls you to discuss your desires and recommends the best way to achieve your wants and needs.
  4. The attorney prepares the legal documents and deeds.
  5. A representative of SEPS, who is a notary, will meet with you for complete assistance in funding the assets to meet your goals (deeds, assignments, stock transfers, letters to financial institutions).
  6. We assist you with any institution regarding funding requirements by helping you fill out the proper forms.
  7. After the initial visit, SEPS will do a funding review to make sure what you wanted funded into the trust is complete.
  8. A representative of SEPS will contact you to perform a regular review every 12 to 18 months.
  9. Please contact SEPS when: You have any questions about your estate or you need a resource regarding your estate such as:
    1. Complete assistance in funding the assets into the trust Deeds, Assignments, Stock Transfers, Letters to Financial Institutions
    2. Notarization of all documents
    3. Lifetime settlement assistance
    4. Communication on elder issues
    5. Funding reviews
    6. Review each 12 to 18 months
    7. Client requested reviews and planning at anytime
